Tree maintenance
- Pruning - to encourage new growth prune branch tips at the end of summer; keep to a neat screening bush (however, if pruned, fruit production will be much less than if left unpruned).
- Fertilise, at the same time as watering, with a slow release organic fertiliser (8-3-9) once a year during the growing season.
- The tree has a deep root system and can handle drought, but prefers some irrigation.
