This tree only exists in the wild in two populations east of Mount Morgan in Queensland.  It produces a beautiful display of white flowers followed by masses of edible dark purple/black berry-like fruit, approximately 5mm diameter.

Tree Maintenance
Pruning
  • Prune immediately after harvest to maintain a height of 2m or less.
Fertiliser
  • Spring (early): liquid seaweed, compost around drip line, sulphate of potash, poultry manure.
  • Summer: worm wee (10:1)
  • Autumn: liquid seaweed.
  • Winter: poultry manure, rock mineral (crusher dust).
